Just had a thought. Would it work if the olny regen point was the Monarch themself?
If you die, you stay in place until the monarch revives you on that spot.
It would require more mobility and strategy from the Monarch.
But it would give them an instant body guard.
(if you die downfield, does the monarch risk coming out to revive you OR are stuck until they can get to you) ?
Just a thought. (OK, I admit a few beers may have inspired it)

Interesting. It would be like necromancers, except that you couldn't switch teams, and it wouldn't be annoying (with all the lurching and not running).

I love it! Very interesting twist. I think this could make things a lot more interesting for running monarch in smaller groups like what we get here!
