Sweet Pea will probably post a new topic about this later this evening, but we've started sewing every other saturday at our place. Bhikkhu ended up with two new pair of hakamas and a few other projects were finished last Saturday, but we're happy to host anybody that needs to work on sewing projects or just hang out. Sewing machines are appreciated, if anyone needs cloth we'll be happy to meet up with them and take them to Joann/Hancock/Walmart to pick up what they need prior to the sewing day.
There will be more info in the post SP puts up, but the next day will be on the 11th. This will be an ongoing thing rather than just a 'til Okfest thing, so we'll try to keep information posted.

Ok... as Arashi has already posted, now that we have a bigger place we have been having sewing days every other Sat. This is something that we would like to open up to the rest of Rhun/Hydra. As previously posted by said pirate the next sewing day will be on Sep. 11th around 12pm at our new address. (I will post this below feel free to call me for directions) I get off work by 3:30 most days and would be happy to have a "pick up supplies day" on Fridays or even hanging out on Fridays to start cutting out stuff and then the actual sewing can take place on Saturday... I am as always open to suggestions, please feel free to comment/suggest. I also plan on starting a new post about this in Garb/Sewing... so no one freak out if they end up reading this post twice... New address: 229 North Thompson Drive Apt. #2 Madison, WI 53714 Hope to see you all soon!

Not going to be able to make it now. Have a chance to make some money this Saturday and I decided I should take it.

Dude, awesome! I won't be able to make it tonight (got D&D), but I'll head up as soon as I can tomorrow--what time would you like me to arrive?

Awesome. I am just able to get to bed now, so I'll likely be coming in a bit later than ten--I'd rather be late than tired while driving. I'll give you a call when I'm hitting the road.

Even though I was there for like 11 hours, I say it was a great success.

It was awesome seeing you guys this weekend, thanks so much for making it possible. For those of you I didn't get to spend as much time with as I would have liked, I'm sorry--I'll be coming back in a few weeks!
