i spoke with barley, and we are a go for building realm weapons. he has the materials, i will make sure we have enough machined peices to make the weapons. eshu has graciously donated the 125$ from the belt flag revinew to purchase the weapon materials.
now pick a date that works and i will have the shop available.
i am hoping that we can get 10 loner swords built. 3 shield would be great too. i will bring in some older ones from my shed to see if we can rebuild them.

Not sure what would be best, I'll try and make a decision before the end of the week.

I just got the rubber/plastic basket hilt I ordered, and am hoping to finish up the sword it goes to during the build day, can anyone offer advice/tricks/tips for making a tennis ball pommel? admittedly this is complicated by the hilt, but it looks like it could work.

I believe you can also do a racquet ball, if I recall correctly. I'd actually like to know as well, if someone could post a tutorial/description of how to do it correctly.

I apparently now have a sword with a tennis ball pommel, I could bring it.

You basically drill a hole in the tennis ball, stuff it with blue foam, stuff the 4#boxed end of the sword into the tennis ball, and fill with gorilla glue.
