For people that don't know, Salamander will be moving to Iowa at the end of the month. So sadly we need to vote for a new member of leadership. Several people talked and we decided we will do nominations for a bit then discussions for a little while as well. Figured we need to do this soon, so sorry if I stepped on your toes Jarvis.
If no one has any issues with this, I figure we can do nominations until Fri July 19th. Then from there we will have discussions and such, then the first week of August we will vote.

Putting aside all personal feelings. I really do think that Tulio would do a great job. We all know he did a great job in OEF. After his break from Belegarth due to injury, he is back and moving along. He has a passion for the sport and wants Rhun to grow and prosper. I think he would be a great leader, therefore I nominate Tulio.

Is anyone else interested in taking up leadership of the realm?
I like your time table Tulio. I'm very interested in everyone's thoughts on this.
Thank you very much to Salamander and Jarvis for leading the realm these last few years. I'm very interested in what our future leadership has in store for our realm.

As a newer member of the realm (around 2 years I think) I think we should consider the following qualities in our leadership:
- Ability to attend practice regularly
- Ability to recruit others
- Ability to handle paperwork and money for the realm
- Ability to be organized and responsible when it comes to the above
A leader doesn't have to be the best fighter, but they do have to be able to keep everyone together and help the realm grow.

I meant to post earlier, as I had talked to both Tulio and Kayle about this a couple of weeks ago: My plan is to step down and pass on leadership to someone else at the same time that we replace Salamander. I also believe that we can bestow leadership onto one person rather than splitting it between two people. Our realm has been very good about helping out where needed.
While I do think that Tulio would do a good job of being a realm leader, I'd also like to hear from anyone else who would be willing to take up the mantle of realm leadership. Step forward! If you've had ideas on how to make the realm better, now is your chance to make your voice heard!
Lastly: I've really enjoyed leading the realm these past almost 2 years now. Thank you all for allowing me the honor.

It worked out well between me and Samhain. I think we just both stepped up at the same time, and we went with it. I liked working with another, but that was just me.

Sadly, Stix has informed me that he is hesitant to accept. But for the record I think he could do it! We'll know by the end of the day if he's turning it down for sure.

I thought we decided Stix was running regardless of his wishes.
