amazing build day. Thanks everyone who helped. Appleton crowd may finally get their shit together. I definitely learned a lot, and had a ton of fun. I hope you all had fun at Red Robin/whatever else happened afterward, I'm sorry I had to bail!
Cheers!

I can't remember the exact specifications for a red weapon in amtgard. Yes it is red. It needs to be 4" in diameter for 3 feet to be great. Thanks a lot bo. Kyrian, i finished the glaive. Don't have a scale, but the cover added a bit. It feels amazing... i'll bring it out to mad town soon.

Bump.
Since we're moving into August/September with Lord of War and Octfest rapidly approaching, we should probably try to have at least one in the upcoming months. Considering the success we had at having it on a Saturday, I think we should continue with this.
August events 1 Aug-mini-event at Slums of Shaolin 8 August-Kill, Grill, Chill in Dunharrow 15 August-nothing? 22 August-Highland Games in Quad cities 29 August-mini-event in Rhinelander/Piper & Katina's wedding
September events 5 Sep-Lord of War at Stonehouse 12 Sep-nothing? 19 Sep-Minnesota Renaissance Festival trip 26 Sep-Equinox in TN
October events 3 Oct-nothing? 10 Oct-Octoberfest
If I had to plan days, I would probably go with:
15 August 12 Sep 3 Oct
Thoughts?

Any of the weekends where I'm not going back to MN would work for me and I would love the opportunity to build some new weapons... I have everything cut and ready to go... enough for a red and about six new blues... I just need some foam, I was also looking at building a new shield.... sorry... got sidetracked... so yeah.... just let me know

15 August 12 Sep 3 Oct
Thoughts?
Only Sept 12 works for me.
However, I could get blue foam from interested parties and cut it into 1 1/2 strips for weapons for the Oct 3 date
If we want more EVA's 4 & 2 lb, i need to know so i can order it.

Well, let's see what everyone says is best for them. As long as Bo is cool with it too, as it is his shop.

Bo,
If you want I will buy back the EVA from you (blades if you want to keep the 4lb cores).
Wimpy fighters like me can still use the 2lb.
I could also "de-core" some Edhellen blades with my band saw if you want to put them on 4lb EVA for durability testing.
