I am willing to come over for a build night(ish)/weekend (me staying for practice on Sunday).
On the weekends that work for me best are the 12 Sept and the 3 Oct.
I am hoping to have new home made weapons for Octoberfest.

Executive decision: We shall endeavour to have two build nights. Both Sept. 12th and Oct. 3rd. I believe everyone in the realm has mentioned needing to do quite a bit of build work before OctoberFest. Objections? Thoughts?

I will have 2 complete sheilds for purchase if anyone wants ($20 including cover - hydra green or burgundy).
I plan on coming to the 12th. I can bring my bandsaw (for cutting foam blades for swords) if people want. If no one replies, I will not bring it.
Bo, I have a band pole and was thinking of making a spear or glaive. What foam do i need to get to build either?

Band saw? Like, big heavy machine band saw? Does everyone in Madison have their own box truck for hauling around that kind of stuff?

Band saw? Like, big heavy machine band saw? Does everyone in Madison have their own box truck for hauling around that kind of stuff? It is a 12" craftsman jobbie. It works great for cutting striaght strips of foam for swords. It is light enough for me to put in my van too. Barley

Bought it off a little old lady on Craigslist for $100. It is 8 years old, but it had less than 2 hours of use.
She did not know how to set it up, so the blade kept falling off. She then decided to get rid of it and use a small scroll saw.

Just a reminder that build night is this Saturday...morning 8). Start at 10 AM. End promptly at 2. Don't be late.
