We had some confusion this recent practice as to what times our practices were. These fighters aqquired their information from the practice section of the website, and not the forumn. I know we were tossing the idea around of a couple other people in Hydra who might be able to take over, but that seems to have lost momentum. So. Let's try this again! Would any like to and be able to step up as web page master for Rhun?

i am not suer of the expectations of the position, but i am on frequently enough that I would volunteer.
Of course that is that I am not too dumb to hold the job.

I could be persuaded to take on the task. I already administrate a website of my own, and have considerable experience in web-tech more advanced than what would be required to keep what is essentially a forum board up and running. There are some questions I would ask first though: * What hosting solution are we currently using? How much is it per month to keep the site running? * What platform is the site hosted on? Do you have root access, or is it a control-panel based admin? * Is there any interest in revamping the site in any way? Seems like all we need to have is a basic informative site with a forum. So if all we need is an info update, the current platform should work fine. But if you had more in mind, there could be better hosting options. Especially if they're cheaper. A lot of hosting solutions restrict your administrative freedom and charge you more since there's less overhead on your end to maintain the site. But if you have somebody that knows what they're doing, you can save big money. There's a very nice VPS hosting solution that I was already considering buying space on to run my other site called Slicehost. The smallest slice gets you everything you need to run multiple sites, and gives full root access for $20/mo. It might be worth considering switching DNS reg over to that - I might go through with buying a slice regardless of whether you want to use it, in which case I'd at most ask for a $5/mo donation to keep it going. You probably wouldn't need to run google ads like you are now, too. Doubt they're pulling in much to pay for the site considering how low the traffic is. If nothing else, I can give you advice. PM me details or just post here.

Please let who ever wants this do it. Carmen keeps saying she will redesign it, but I have not gotten her to even begin. We have been waiting for the site info from Kayle or somebody but have never received it. I just don't think she really feels like going forward with it anymore. Our lives are consumed with keeping children from crying at the moment.

Last I heard, Denara is the overall site admin. Kayle, I think, is a forum admin.

This is true, though I believe Denara has not visited or maintained the website in a long time. I will request the information of Kayle.

Gosta I have the information at work. I'm sorry that Carmen was waiting on me. I was waiting to hear from you for her e-mail address but never received it. It eventually slipped my mind and I never followed up on it. I'll dig up the info at work tomorrow.
Denara has nothing to do with any of our sites anymore.

No problem Kayle. I think we sent a PM a while back but I could be mistaken. Anyways, here's her email address if you want to relay the info on to her.

I hope my post didn't have "smug computer guy" written all over it? Lack of acknowledgment is usually a bad sign.

Okies, so I guess the question is who gets to do it? Jarvis, I don't believe we were trying to write you off! Carmen had volunteered for it before. Jarvis here has volunteered and does seem to have the no how, and you guys do seem to be busy with the little ones. It is up to you two.
How do we solve this?

know how, silence jimmy. else you face the thrasher.
and i agree i have confidence in jarvis and carmen. carmen having the little ones, i dont want to reduce her involvement, but it seems jarvis would have more time and energy to devote to this over haul. but if carmen wants to she has my vote as well.
so really i think if she has any apprehension then jarvis should get the nod.

All right, if Carmen and Ghosta do not reply back soon, I will be awarding this position to Jarvis.
