Nicely done. The applique or whatever you used for the sashes turned out particularly well. The rope belts get annoying in my experience if you're trying to fight, so I'd assume this is not fighting garb? It's all pretty and shtuff.

Hey everyone look at Cale the fighting Lutheran pastor here. I made fancy and nice looking wrap pants for a deserving Khador guy as part of my squireship requirements.

Nice work still. You've inspired me to finish up a tunic of mine and other various projects I had remaining.

All of the sets of garb I'm planning (I've got, like, three in the lineup) will be based at least somewhat around the appearance of holy men from a given region. Given that my character is based around what would be the equivalent of Southern Germany/Italy at a fantasy equivalent of 1400 or so, I figured that was a good place to start. Wait until I start slapping armor over this stuff.
And stoles are characteristic of a LOT of religions. Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, etc.
Why go for the appearance of a holy man everywhere? Character was of noble upbringing, knows that the clergy can go where they please in most areas without being questioned.

Truth be told, most Protestant denominations use the stole that he has there. Catholics too. I' myself have been trying to save up money to get enough linen to make a Teutonic Order habit, it's just that at 14.99 a yard for 100% linen, it's a little difficult. Medieval Germany at that point in time is really an interesting time- before the Reformation, right when the Holy Roman Empire was reaaaally starting to get powerful and big. You get the genesis of the great families during that point to- the Medici, the Borgias, the Tudors, the Fuggers, etc. Hell, even the German Krupps of the late 19th and early 20th centurys. Why 1400? I know it's a fantasy setting, but any particular reason?

Why 1400? I know it's a fantasy setting, but any particular reason? Gives me something to aim for with more inspiration. Also, balleriffic Milanese armor.
