The discussion is here. I encourage Rhun members to read up on each candidate and their view points. board.belegarth.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=39449This vote is for the vice presidency of Belegarth. If you are not from Rhun, PLEASE DO NOT VOTE OR COMMENT. This is Rhun's vote, and Rhun's decision to make. Thank you.

Can I vote? I mean, I don't have a realm anywhere close that has even speaking rights...

Since we're discussing this openly, I agree. At first I wasn't so sure, but I don't know Soo, and I really liked Ahlschwede's stance of "safety first, always".

After a great deal of thinking I agree with both Jarvis and Bo.

While keeping in mind the saftey first always debate, there was an issue with him and Magpie at closer that makes me a little weary of voting for Ahlschwede.

While keeping in mind the saftey first always debate, there was an issue with him and Magpie at closer that makes me a little weary of voting for Ahlschwede. It was at Rhun in June, and I recall that too but in the end I'd rather vote for the person who I think has Bel's best interest in mind rather than make it personal. And I'm not excusing his prior actions in saying this, but: everyone slips up every now and then.

I am not bringing in personal feelings about a person about it. I just feel a person running a national organization should be more mature about confrontations....

I doubt Ahlschwede is proud of it. Don't be so quick to judge, I say.

It seems you think im taking things personal Jarvis and Im not. Im just saying Im nervous about it. There is a difference between being pissed and yelling at someone, and unloading on them. And as far as judging people, We are supposed to choose who we want to be our VP, so we must judge people.
And after much thought about what people have said and thinking about people making mistakes, I wish to change my vote to abstain. I do agree that Ahlschwede does share common goals and opinions on the sport, and Soo is not a great fit to my wants.
Now I understand people screwing up, it happens to me all the time. But I always wish to show people through my actions that I learn and grow from these things. As of right now I have not seen that handling confrontation is a strong skill that Ahlschwede possesses, but that doesn't mean that's the case. I feel giving time I would change my mind, but not positive enough to cast my vote for him as of now.
