Alrighly so there is a debate going on in my realm on a few things that I just do not understand, or at least I think I do not understand. SO I'd love some advice.
First One:
An armed archer sits on his/her butt and shoots with his/her remaining good arm and feet. Is this legal? Is said archer "faking" injury to gain an advantage? Is this creative interpretation of the rules to gain any advantage?
I said that this was legal, and that it was not faking death or injury, however not all of the realm seems to agree with me, and they seem to think that this is not legal and that the archer is faking death/injury in order to fain advantage.
Can someone please give me a call on this issue.
Second One:
How are we suppose to die? Is it laying down with an elbow in contact with the ground? Is it 3 points of contact? Is it sitting with your weapon on your head? I looked at the BoW and it saying laying down, is that the only legal way to present death?
Thanks so much all!

How could willingly taking an arm wound in order to shoot in a more labored, awkward way while being rooted firmly to the ground while doing so, ever be considered an advantage? Dong this is legal as far as I know, and any archer that I'm up against is more than welcome to "take advantage" of this fact. Whenever I am armed as an archer, I just pick up a blue because I know I'll be more useful that way.
Second question: 3 points of contact/elbow on ground is a good way to do it if you can't clear out of the battle. Otherwise weapon on head is sufficient while you walk off the field. But if you're stuck on the field, definitely try for 3 points of contact.

Both Mux and Numenor allow one armed shooting and I don't think I've even seen anyone hit someone shooting that way. How on earth would this be advantageous? To play it safe I'll actually normally "break" the bow when I see one lying on the ground. Mostly to prevent others from picking it up, but it would also prevent someone from doing this poor attempt at cheating you've described. In terms of showing death we pretty much rule with a "weapon on head" as the end all be all of death, preferably throwing in a "while moving off of the field". If you want to lay on the ground that's fine, but it better be all the way down with 3 points of contact. In the end a good rule is "don't be a dick". The fact that this is an actual issue for you means somebody is being a dick. Tell them to stop being a dick.
