Which is why I said that the tutorial is for the high end of design, and it is such that it needs a core to compress down on to. Why? That core is just going to ensure that it never folds in a gear bag and can let you make the center where you grip smaller than FUCKHUGE.. You've made coreless daggers wrong then. Mine don't fold up in a gear bag, nore are the handels FUCKHUGE. And why is weight in a dagger a bad thing? Historically, daggers were VERY heavy to help the point penetrate. That's exactly what a heavy Bel dagger is going to do. Your stabs will land with better force because having a higher weight in your hand gives the shot more momentum. But we don't need the tip to penetrate, just to have enough force. Also, you can move a lighter weight faster than a heavier one. Anywho I wasn't the one who brought up the weight issue, because then they will weigh a tens of grams heavier, big whoop.

I'm not saying one is wrong or right. I can, however, say that I've used Tail's dagger and I do like it. On the other end of that, I've also used a dagger with core. To be honest, when you're dealing with something that small I didn't notice that much of a difference.
