Is anyone looking to sell any bats or swords? Alternatively, is anyone interested in a build day/night prior to Rhun Closer?

I'd be interested in a build night. Not sure if I'd be making anything at this point, but I could be an extra set of hands if anyone needed. Or at least make witty comments. XD

I would be interested in a build night, I would have 2 kids (8 and 11) that would be more capable than I at building stuff.
How does it work for materials? My kids would like to build all manner of weird weaponry (battle axes, arrows). Do we chip in up front, go on a shopping spree together or are all the materials interchangeable and scale-able?

This would be a bring your own materials, DIY type of thing. Bring extras that you have and share; If it's big stuff, feel free to recoup the cost by charging. Likewise, if you are missing some significant materials and need someone else's extras, offer to pay.
I will shoot for early December if that works for people? Probably the 2nd during the day. Venue is likely going to be my garage.

One of the problems with this is that everyone builds their weapons a little bit differently. Your best bet (at least for a starter (also if Barley isn't able to help out)) is to check out the edhellen armory for the "do it yourself kits" www.edhellen.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=EA&Category_Code=kits-mats. It will give you the raw materials foamwise for this and instructions on how to do them. You'll need materials like glue and others, but I'm willing to bet someone will let you use their glue and tape if you throw them a buck or two.
