I just posted this on the Numenor facebook and thought I should here as well:
I understand a lot of you will be heading home for winter break and the holidays and that many of you will be heading to the Chicago suburbs to see family and friends. Let me take this opportunity to invite you to Muxlovia to fight while you are on break!
Obviously a lot of realms go into hibernation in the winter as they do not have indoor facilities, we do! We fight all year round! "Holy crap Meat, that sounds great!" You might say, and indeed, you would be right.
We practice on Saturdays from 5-8. Practice is held at the Bible Baptist Church, 301 Normantown Road, Romeoville, Il, 60446. There is a large field house/gym behind the actual church which is where you will find us. Afterwards we often all grab something to eat together at a restaurant close by. Everyone is invited!
We're a tight knit group of dedicated fighters that are sure to give you a run for your money and keep you sharp over break. Heck, we are happy to teach you some things if that's what you'd like as well.
So come on down and pay us a visit. The only requirement is that you wear gym shoes so we don't scuff up the floor. Also, if you don't wear kneepads you are gonna freaking hate the gym floor, so wear those too. (Vollyball kneepads I've found work best on all surfaces for foam fighting).
Note that there will be no practice the Saturday after thanksgiving, so sorry if you were hoping to hop in then.
