Only problem is comparing amtgard and belegarth is like comparing apples to beef! I mean seriously....plate armor in amtgard gives you 6 EXTRA HITS! And that's per item. If you have a breastplate=7 hits to kill.....arms=7 hits to lose limb and so on. Seems a BIT broken imo. Maybe that's just me. Not to mention you can make an amtgard weapon that weighs ounces....if you build it right.

But let's not forget the lightning bolt, fireball, sphere of annihilation, or even just an entangle. Magic balances out the multiple hits given to armor. I've been hit by an entangle and then killed by two fireballs--one to burn me out and then the second to kill me. Unless you've got a pro-mag, you often end up meat for the magic-users.

Crosslinked polyethylene has a chemical or radiation treatement that causes bonds to form between the polymers. It makes it softer and more pliable.
Or so I have been told.

So....., build day. Bo I am thinking of heading on over Thursday to work out and practice with you guys. Are you available Thursday and Friday so I can learn to improve my workout, talk about general Belegarth stuff, etc? What are the plans for after build session unless I've totally missed that for some odd reason?

Alright, so with barley unable to get foam, how much camp pad will need to be bought per item? Like, how many pad's per shield and how many swords per pad? and should these be bought beforehand (and where) or will there be a run to go and get pads?

So as far as I remember I won't need any camp pads for making swords, both red and blue, correct? I have all the other materials save the cloth tape, which I was told to get at Village Peddler in Monona. And also, it is still starting at 10am yes? I only have until about 2pm to craft.

yep i have fries, i have all the materials for swords. cost for a uncovered sword is 20$. and i will teach you how to make it, and it will be made with love.
i have not much for shields, though so better bring what you need for this. you can get 2 shields from 3 rolls of camp pad.you need duct tape, t nuts, bolts and washers to get it done. i have some strap around the shop for the straps. ]
