That would be me. I 'm sure someone has thought of it before, but I made a set for someone in our realm and they really liked it. Plus when the foam breaks down, you just replace it.

For now it is an inserts, after I see how well it holds up, I will do a stitched pair. Maybe get some better foam. I hit my hand with a core, while wearing one and did not feel a thing.

For extra comfort, cut out a piece of old, soft towel (or new fluffy sock) and glue it to the hand side of the foam.

I plan to glue foam to driving glove, fit that glove inside extra large black leather work gloves, sew the cuffs together then and the leather forearm cuffs.
