On the national boards, this rules question was asked by Borric: And the initial response by Cyric: www.belegarth.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=23233I thought this might be an interesting one for others to read. It will be interesting to see if there are any other responses, as this response and the opinion of the poster seem to contradict what I had thought (and had been taking).

I as well have always taken death, but if the general consensus on the national boards ends up changing that thought I will rethink how I take it. My understanding is that the BOW says nothing about this case specifically, and that it in fact covers the case of both knees on the ground. 3.7.6. If an opponent has both knees on the ground, a strike to either Leg is considered to have struck the good Leg. If the opponent is lunging or rolling around and has a disabled Leg and is hit in either, it is considered a hit to the uninjured Leg. Now, this is one case where the HACS rules are clearer: their rules say that the second hit to any leg is death.

When i pressed this issue earlier in my fighting career, it was 2 hits before taking leg = death. it is considered to carry through, just as arm hits and shield hits after it is broken.
i am pretty sure that this will be the concenous beore it is all said and done.
